According to AllTrails, that part was around 14 miles one way, so we ended up with a 28 mile ride. The next day we started the trail at the same location, but went to the south. And not too far from them we had several dudes pop out of a hidden area of trees by the trail. On the return trip, 3 of them were laying on the trail. Somewhere around 2-3 miles from the Durham end point, first we came upon 5 teenagers in the middle of the trail. We encountered 2 strange things during this ride.
